The CNRS Normandy Chair of Excellence for Peace and the CIDCE are joining forces to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this institution. This time, with a webinar focusing on the legal principles of environmental law, including that relating to future generations on December 12, 2022.
Four speakers will participate, each specializing in a different principle, providing a broader perception of this concept:
- Agnès Michelot, HDR lecturer in public law”, UMR CNRS 7266, La Rochelle University. Vice-president of the French Society for Environmental Law, will address the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities;
- José Juste, Professor of International Law at the University of Valencia, will speak on the principle of prevention;
- Frédéric Bouin, Senior Lecturer in Public Law, University of Perpignan Via Domitia, on the principle of non-regression
- Emilie Gaillard, general coordinator of the Normandy Chair for Peace and MCF HDR in private rights at Sciences Po Rennes, on the principle of responsibility towards future generations.

Each of them will give a 15 to 20 minute presentation, which will be followed by a debate.
