An Agenda of Research and Teaching and Capacity-Building So That For Future Generations May Live In Peace with Nature

Earth Day, 22 April 2022 at The United Nations

The Normandy Chair for Peace will hold a session to report to the UN on the work of the Normandy Chair for Peace, to make selected “Good Stories” awards and invite the UN Member State to identify future good stories to document and celebrate, on Earth Day April 22, 2022 (Friday) The event would be in Manhattan, convenient to all UN Missions.

  • 11:15 am – Recognition of Good Stories – To be presented by Prof. Nicholas Robinson, Emilie Gaillard, Tony Oposa, and Youth Representatives
    Launch of the Normandy Award for Peace with the Earth Guardian of Future Generations
  • 11:45 am Community Performance led by the Normandy Chair for Peace Concert Chorale
  • 11:50 am Conclude morning session – Pascal Buleon, Director, MRSH, University of Caen, Normandy, France
