Crossed views on transhumanism

Edited by Amandine Cayol (Volume Editor) Emilie Gaillard (Volume Editor).

This book is about the ubiquitous in the media, the term transhumanism requires an academic clarification. Indeed, there is not one, but several transhumanisms.

The floor is given here to thinkers of various disciplines, more or less open to this current of ideas sometimes accused of ideology, or even a threat to Humanity.

Are these fears well founded? What are the origins of this movement of thought? What are its different ramifications? What are the achievements, especially in the medical field? Is an ethical and/or legal framework for these practices necessary? Do new fundamental rights deserve to be recognized?

The floor is given here both to transhumanist activists and critical thinkers to cross their views.
