- Money creation as a factor of disordered exploitation of the planet, by Paul CLAVIER, Professor of philosophy, University of Lorraine / Poincaré Archives
Presentation : Justice is traditionally a virtue that should determine human behavior. As for environmental justice, it is also concerned with the equitable distribution of environmental consequences between different regions of the world. In this context, Agnès Michelot, a legal publicist, shares her thoughts in the specific field of climate. With P. Clavier, we continue to be interested in global issues. He brings us his philosopher’s vision about the nature of money, and conceives the necessary ecological transition as a financial transition: there is a link between the conception of money as an asset in trade and the imbalance in the relationship between human beings and their environment. The creation of money through credit questions our responsibility towards natural resources and their exploitation.
