The search for a lasting peace with the Earth supposes to question the current and future evolutions of the human person being subject to modifications, transformations and increases.
The symposium “Transhumanism in the era of ameliorative medicine”, organized under the scientific responsibility of B. Bévière-Boyer and A. Cayol in webinar on May 11, 2021, has for stake to engage multidisciplinary and international reflections on the biological and techno-scientific evolutions likely to upset the human condition. The challenge of this meeting, which will include both researchers and practitioners, is to lead discussions that bring together law, medicine, ethics, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, computer science, economics, history, etc., in order to better understand the impact of ameliorative medicine on the human person. What proposals can be made in this field in terms of sustainable peace with the Earth? The participation of European and Chinese contributors will allow, by taking into account the diversity of cultures, a sharing on the future of the human being in a global dimension.
