The leader of the Normandy Chair of Excellence for Peace, Tony OPOSA, presented an inaugural lecture entitled “The time for talk is over” to students from prestigious American universities, some of whom are specialized in environmental law.
The Time for talk is over describes an international action plan that is intended to be carried by young people. The objective is simple: to submit an advisory opinion to the International Court of Justice so that the latter may rule on the obligations of States in the fight against climate change. “Let’s sweat the whole world! Time for talk is over” (T. OPOSA).
This inaugural lesson is closely linked to the Climate Justice line of the Chair.
