I Franco-Brazilian Colloquium on International Peace and Sustainability Law

The Group of Advanced Studies on Environment and Economy in International Law – EMAE, together with the Research Group on Environmental Law and Political Ecology in the Risk Society of the Federal University of Santa Catarina – GPDA, invite you to the I Franco-Brazilian Symposium on International Law for Peace and Sustainability. It will take place from May 9 to 11, with the presence of great national and international names and will be divided into two events:

Event 1: A common health: towards an international convention on pandemics

May 9 and 10 with the participation of the general coordinator of the Normandy Chair for Peace as a speaker.

Le 9 mai 2022, lors de la session matinale du premier jour du Ier Colloque franco-brésilien sur le droit international pour la paix et la durabilité qui s’est tenu à l’Université fédérale de Santa Catarina au Brésil, M. Michel Prieur (professeur de Droit de l’environnement et président du CIDCE) et Mme. De Pooter (professeure de droit public à l’Université de Franche-Comté) se sont tous deux penchés sur l’état du droit international en matière de pandémie ainsi que sur l’objectif d’arriver prochainement à l’établissement d’une convention mondiale sur les pandémies, thème fondamental au lendemain de la crise de Covid19 que le monde a connu.
