ICJ, GSM, inter-generational meetings, indigenous peoples and young researchers meetings (make a short description of each action and indicate that it must be linked to the line for the web master to do so)
You can take part in the different projects led/supported by the Normandy Chair for Peace:
Good Stories Movement
The Good Stories movement is a movement that was born from the activist Tony Oposa. For him, it is a movement of valorization through the sharing of inspiring stories. This initiative has two main goals: it seeks to encourage the actors of such initiatives to continue their efforts to fight climate change and “make peace with the earth”, but it also wants to show that it is possible to take action at its scale to all people who would come across these stories. It is possible for anyone who wants to do so to make a contribution to the building. You too, you can :
- Become an ambassador in your country/region for the Good Stories Movement : click here
- Find good stories and submit them : click here
If you know of an initiative/project for peace with the Earth that you would like to highlight, why not promote it as a “good story”? To do so, simply go to the Normandy Peace Chair website (more precisely here) and follow the instructions indicated there.
I Am Climate Justice
The I Am Climate Justice (ICJ) movement was born out of a worldwide citizen mobilization to demand concrete actions from our governments to fight climate change, preserve the environment and assert the right of current and future generations to live decently on Earth. The “I Am Climate Justice” movement is perfectly in line with the Normandy Chair for Peace in defending this idea of peace with the Earth.
