Luis-Miguel Gutiérrez R. is a French-Colombian lawyer and Doctor of Public Law at the University of Toulouse. He is currently a Research Professor at the University of Lille. His doctoral thesis examines the relationship between transitional justice and the constitution in different States using a comparative constitutional law approach. He is Co-President of the Transitional Justice Commission of the Association des Juristes franco-colombiens. His research focuses on transitional justice, the Inter-American human rights system, environmental democracy and the interaction between international and national legal systems. He is currently part of the research team on “Peace, transitional justice and environmental Issues”.
