Guillaume Chapron
Guillaume Chapron is an Associate Professor at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. His research is interdisciplinary and focuses on contemporary environmental problems such as the conservation of biodiversity, in particular of large predators. Initially trained as a statistician with a particular crush on Bayesian inference, his work focuses on various topics such as the modeling of ecological systems, law and politics, ethics and social psychology. He has published in Nature, Science, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the US. He is a graduate of the Institut des Hautes Études de la Défense Nationale (in strategic and economic intelligence), the University of London (in political science), the Université Pierre & Marie Curie University (in ecology) and Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort.
