Professor of International Law, International Economic Law, International Environmental Law at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (since 2010). Managing member of the Cambridge Global Food Security, University of Cambridge. Member of the expert group of the United Nations Program “Harmony with Nature. Member of the Steering Committee of the Ecological Law and Governance Association (ELGA). Member of the International Society for Ecological Economics. Visiting Professor at the Ecole de Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales – Paris (2004), J.W. Goethe Universität – Frankfurt (2005), Universidad Pablo d’Olavide – Seville (2001-2007), University of Newcastle – Australia (2018-2021)
Author of several books and articles on environmental law, economics, biodiversity protection, food security, climate change, Member of the Jean Monet Chair CCJ / UFSC.
